Software coupling improves longevity and decreases power loss for electrical transformers. To address these challenges, an effective numerical analysis must involve both computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and electromagnetic solutions. Combining FLUENT software with ANSYS Emag technology in an iterative, coupled manner provides that solution.
The power and energy output of a wind turbine isa cubic function of the wind speed. Doubling thewind speed can mean a substantial increase in theenergy output, thereby improving the economic viabilityof an installation. It is vital to assess the wind powerpotential of a site with as much accuracy as possible, takinginto account seasonal as well as year to year variations in thelocal wind climate. The power and energy output of a wind turbine isa cubic function of the wind speed.
